The Association for the Development of Tripoli and the Port praised the initiative taken by Mr. Issam Fares to donate a headquarters to the Directorate of the General Security in Juma, Akkar, deeming that this step reflects Fares' deep conviction to show devotion to the state project and institutions over all the Lebanese territories, and that it would alleviate, to a great extent, the suffering of the citizens and their burden of moving to distant places.
The Association considered that this generous donation made by Fares affirms that he is a real statesman par excellence who only concern is to put the public interest above any narrow factional interest in order to embody the balanced development in both words and deeds.
