Fateh Azzam
has been the Middle East regional representative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) since 2006. Mr. Azzam was the Director of the Forced Migration and Refugee Studies Program at the American University in Cairo between 2003 and 2006. He holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law and has been active in the Palestinian and Arab human rights movement since 1985 and has published studies and articles on humanitarian law, the right to development and Arab constitutional protection of civil rights.
