His Beatitude Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Butros Sfeir received in Diman the Director General of the Fares Foundation Mr. William Mjalli who conveyed him his thanks to have sponsored the inauguration of Issam Fares Oasis for Development& Heritage at the Patriarchal Park in Diman, relaying to him Mr. Fares’ greetings and great esteem for his spiritual and patriotic position.

The Maronite Patriarch considered that ‘What Lebanon is mostly in need of at this stage of its history is the solidarity of its citizens over the development projects and the social promotion’. The Patriarch asked Mr. Mjalli to convey his amiability and blessing to His Excellency Mr. Fares and his family, praising the developmental role played by the Fares Foundation under Fares directives in fulfillment of his willingness to build and construct. He called upon publicizing these initiatives in order to contribute in the revitalization and recovery of Lebanon, and to control the migration of its citizens.

Moreover, the Patriarch remarked that ‘What Lebanon is mostly in need of at this stage of its history is the solidarity of its citizens over the development projects and social promotion for the promotion of national solidarity, and the bet for this promotion is on Issam Fares, this philanthropist who gives his nation without expecting a return’.
