The Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs at AUB is pleased to announce the inaugural event of its program


The Research and Policy Forum on Climate Change and Environment in the Arab World which aims to provide a mechanism that brings together AUB professors, other academics and researchers, civil society and policymakers to formulate environmental policies in the Arab world and to mitigate the impact of expected climate change scenarios and otherenvironmental challenges.

By Dr. Nadim Farajalla, Assistant Professor of Hydrology and Water Resources, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences, AUB and Faculty Coordinator of the Research and Policy Forum on Climate Change and Environment in the
Arab World

Dr. Farajalla earned his PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, USA. He is Assistant Professor of Hydrology and Water Resources at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences at AUB and responsible for conducting research and teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in hydrology, water resources, and related fields. His research focus is on watershed management, fate and transport of contaminants in surface and ground water, application of GIS and remote sensing technology in water science.
