The Vice President of the Lebanese Government Mr. Issam Fares received the Civil Vice Governor of Iraq the American Ambassador Richard Jones, accompanied by the chargé d’affaires in the American Embassy in Beirut Gerald Farstein.

The visit was included on the agenda of Mr. Jones who met several Lebanese personalities to exchange different points of views concerning the situation in Iraq and the last developments in the region.
